The Skins template comes with 6 predefined skin choices. They are Blue, Chocolate, Green, Grey, Orange and Sky. The best part is, you also get a skins css stylesheet template, so you can create and offer as many more skins as you would like to.

You can make your own new skins quite easily. You don't have to be a programmer, a CSS guru or anything like that. Just copy the template, put in your choice of colors in the stylesheet (Comments within the sheet itself will guide you in your choices), save the file to whatever name you would like to name your new skin (plus the ".css" suffix) to your skins folder, add it to your skins menu and you're done.

A few other items included with the Skins template that you should know that will save you time, trouble and aggravation. The Skins template supports the built in logo methods as supported by 68 Classifieds. In addition, when you upload a logo within the admin, the skins template will automatically resize to accommodate most logo images AND it will also be put inside of a clickable link that will take the end users to the home page.

The copyright information will automatically change for you. The year will always set to the current year and depending on how you do your logo at the top of your page will automatically adjust to your site name (e.g. if you use text, it uses the logo title. If you use an image, then it will use your site title from the main settings).

The Skins template also has 3 built in ad zones in place for you to use. A top banner ad space (for standard IAB full banner 468 x 60) and two side banner spaces underneath the menus for box banner ads.

These ad spaces are built-in, however are commented out. Simply uncomment them (instructions included), paste in your ad code and you're done!
