After going live with my Community 68 Classifieds site, I noticed that for some reason I was getting a number of abandoned listings. An abandoned listing is when someone clicks on the “Place and ad” link and starts the process to post a classified ad, but never finishes the process. You end up with a listing that is set to inactive.

Many of you are using the seller store module that 68 Classifieds offers for free. Although this isn’t really a “Store”, it is simply a place where the seller can show a store name, description and an image. This is only shown when you click on the link when viewing an ad listing that says, more ads from this seller and the seller has of course provided these items.

A look in the template folder
This is the second part of this ongoing series. If you haven’t read the first part, you should start here.
Now that you’ve gotten all set up for your custom template for your 68 Classifieds site by making your backups, making your own custom template folder, you’re probably wanting to start making some changes. We will get to that, but we still have plenty to learn before we delve into that part. Remember that the article series is called the “Basic Structure for Design!”.
